Christina Hendricks, an actor, is married.
According to People magazine, the “Mad Men” star married her four-year partner, George Bianchini, a camera operator in the entertainment sector, on Saturday at New Orleans’ historic Napoleon House.
The southern destination is a significant spot for the couple, according to Hendricks, who told the publication in an interview on Sunday that New Orleans was a site both Hendricks and Bianchini enjoyed visiting before meeting.
“And then when we first started dating or meeting up, because we lived across the country from one another, it was the place in the middle,” she told me. “It just feels like our city together.”
She told the source they planned a “grand celebration” for their wedding, arriving on a 76-person guestlist. The list featured “Mad Men” creator Matt Weiner, fashion designer Christian Siriano, and actors Mae Whitman and Retta, with whom she appeared in the TV series “Good Girls.”
Hendricks donned a custom gown made by Katya Katya. Garbage band’s lead singer, Shirley Manson, and Hendricks, a close friend, officiated the ceremony.
The couple began dating in 2020, and Hendricks revealed on her Instagram profile in 2023 that they were engaged, writing, “We proposed to each other and said yes!!!” “I’ll love and care for him forever.”
Hendricks was formerly married to actor Geoffrey Arend for ten years before they announced their separation in 2019.
