The Spice Girls, Victoria, Melanie Brown, Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, and Melanie Chisholm, were pop culture celebrities in the 1990s, pushing their unique style of girl power through lyrics about sisterhood and women’s liberation.
Their 1996 first album Spice remains the best-selling record by a girl group. Halliwell quit the band in 1998, and the group officially disbanded in 2000, but they have sometimes rejoined for shows since then.
The last time all five performed together was in 2012 during the London Olympics‘ closing ceremony. However, one of the Spice Girls has hinted that a reunion tour could be in the works.
Victoria’s 50th birthday party took place at Oswald’s, a private members club in London’s affluent Mayfair neighborhood.
The pop star-turned-fashion designer has been seen using crutches recently due to a foot injury and exited the party on her husband David’s back.
